POLICE ARREST SUSPECT ENOCH ASIMIGA FOR ROBBERY IN THE WESTERN

The Ghana Police Service has arrested suspect Enoch Asimiga for a robbery incident at Wassa Nkran in the Western Region on 13th June 2025.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspect attacked a victim near Wassa Nkran at gunpoint with a locally manufactured pistol, robbed him of some money, and fled into a nearby cocoa farm. The victim raised alarm, prompting a swift community response that led to the arrest of the suspect.

A search led to the retrieval of one (1) BB live cartridge, one (1) locally manufactured pistol, and a Samsung mobile phone.

The suspect is currently in Police custody, assisting ongoing investigations and will be put before the court.
