Former Boxing Heavyweight Champion Anthony Joshua has raved about how amazing Ghana is after visiting the country for a headline boxing event.
He made wonderful remarks in his speech delivered when he paid courtesy call on President of Ghana John Dramani Mahama at the Jubilee House.
The British superstar who is of Nigerian descent, touched down in Ghana on Friday, June 13 to lead a star studded boxing event dubbed “Battle of the Beasts” at Bukom Boxing Arena.
Chief Executive Officer of Legacy Rise Sports- a sports management and promotion company- Sharaf Mahama and former British welterweight champion Amir Khan, co-organized the event and both men were present at the Jubilee House that had Anthony Joshua state,
On his arrival in Ghana, Joshua got a splendid by motor bikers in Ghana and was gifted a Honda motorbike by President Mahama’s millionaire brother Ibrahim Mahama.
Joshua is expected to fight either Moses Itauma, Jared Anderson or Deontay Wilder in his next fight; Joshua has 28 wins and four losses in his career after winning gold at the 2012 Olympics. Scroll down to watch video.
