
The Kwahu Professionals Network (KPN) has partnered with West Africa’s largest hotel, Rock City Hotel, and renowned tour operator Sunseekers Tours to unveil the highly anticipated ‘Yenko Kwahu’ event for 2023. Promising a weekend of adventure, culture, and celebration, the event is set to take place from Friday, September 22 to Sunday, September 24.
This year’s ‘Yenko Kwahu’ is assured to offer an extensive selection of activities, ranging from guided tours of scenic tourist sites to exciting adventures like marathons.
The weekend long festivities kick off with an electrifying ‘Akwaaba Nite’ bonfire at the Mpraeso Social Centre in Mpreaso. Whilst , Rock City Hotel’s Pizzeria will host an open house party, promising an evening of lively entertainment and warm welcomes.

Saturday, September 23: A Day of Exploration:
Saturday is dedicated to exploring and immersion of the rich Kwahu culture . Participants will tour sites including the awe-inspiring Butuase Waterfalls in Tafo, the serene Catholic Shrine in Tafo, aw well as the captivating Stone Age Park in Abetifi.
The Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) will also organize a cyclist marathon coupled with paragliding thrill on the Odweanoma mountain.

As night falls, Rock City in Nkwatia will be bubbling with a Clubbing and Live Band session , offering a night of music and dance at a cost of 150ghc for singles and 250ghc for couples.
Sunday, September 24: A Day of Reflection and Celebration
Sunday marks the culmination of the ‘Yenko Kwahu’ 2023 event. The morning will be graced by a special thanksgiving service in collaboration with the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) at the Abetifi Rameseyer Presbyterian Church .
