Professior Kofi Aseidu criticized the NPP government for utilizing the party machinery to the advantage of one candidate against the other three who contenders in the election thus admonished the Assin Central MP to consider joining the National Democratic Congress as the party possesses an established record of offering leadership opportunities to people in diverse backgrounds.
In the Awutu Senya East constituency where Mavis Hawa Koomson serves as Bawumia’s campaign coordinator for the Central Region, Hon Kennedy Agyepong won against Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
The NDC believes the results will have a bearing on the 2024 parliamentary elections in Kasoa as it strongly believes that the development is a clear indication of diminished popularity for Hawa Koomson.
