Member of Parliament for Ahafo Ano South East, Hon Francis Manu-Adabor, has admonished Licensed Surveyors Association of Ghana (LiSAG) to take charge and lead in the government’s quest to digitalize land administration services in Ghana.
According to him, the government of Ghana, under the leadership of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has made significant Strides in digitizing land administration as he says this digital transformation is essential in ensunng efficiency, reducing disputes, and making land records more accessible to all Ghanaians.
The Legislature was reading a speech on behalf of Hon. Samuel Abu Jinapor, Minister for Lands and Natural Resources during the Inauguration and Dedication of Licensed Surveyors Association of Ghana (LiSAG) House in Accra.
Mr Manu-Adabor noted that, gone are the days when manual processes could serve the needs of a growing and dynamic economy but says there is a need to embrace technology as he challenge LiSAG to lead this charge.

He said, the inauguration and dedication of the LISAG House is a milestone that reflects the strength, unity, and vision of the Licensed Surveyors Association of Ghana as he said, this magnificent facility is not just a building but it is a symbol of LiSAG commitment to excellence, professionalism and the future of surveying in Ghana.

The Legislature who is also a Professional Surveyor extended his heartfelt congratulations to the leadership of LiSAG especially President Samuel Larbi Darko and the Property Committee for their dedication and tireless efforts that has led to the realization of this important project. He believes this facility will serve as a center for innovation, collaboration, and professional development and it is a true reflection of LiSAG’s commitment to the surveying profession and to the nation.
Mr Manu-Adabor urged LiSAG to prioritize the use of advanced tools like Geographic Information Systems (GIS), drones, and GPS in cadastral surveys and land management as he says these tools willl enable more accurate mapping, better data collection, and a higher standard of service delivery.

His leadership and forward-thinking policies set the stage for what we are celebrating today. The foundation he laid has been critical in guiding us to this point, and we owe him a debt of gratitude. ”

He also added that, “I want to extend my deepest appreciation to all our members, whether you contributed financially, technically, or morally, this success is yours as much as it is ours. Your unwavering support has been the bedrock of our progress, and it has carried us through every challenge. | humbly ask for your continued commitment as we journey toward even greater accomplishments for LiSAG.”
Mr Larbi Darko stressed that, this marks the beginning of a new chapter for LISAG and this building is not just a headquarters—it is a symbol of their unity, their ambition, and their shared vision for the future of licensed surveyors in Ghana as he says it will serve as a hub for collaboration, learning, and professional development, providing space where they can come together to elevate their profession and contribute meaningfully to the nation’s growth.

He added that, “As we move forward, let us remember that this achievement is just the start. Together, we will continue to push the boundaries of excellence in our field, shaping the future of surveying in Ghana for generations to come.”
Also, the Executive Secretary of the Lands Commission, Surveyor Benjamin Arthur, also commended LiSAG for the work they have been doing to support the Lands Commission as he urge them to do more and urged them to also keep their relationship with the Lands Commission intact.
He also hope LiSAG embrace their efforts of Digitalization to enhance their works and push the agenda ahead.
