CLOGSAG declares nationwide strike effective July 3

The Civil and Local Government Staff Association, Ghana (CLOGSAG), has declared a nationwide strike effectively on July 3, 2024.

According to the Association, the government has failed to implement the proposed new salary structure approved by the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission after one and a half years since a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed in January 2024.

This announcement was made in the statement by the Isaac Bampoe Addo, the Executive Secretary of the Association.
