The Greater Accra Regional Hospital, also known as Ridge Hospital, has released the CCTV footage of Ralph St. Williams’ recent altercation with workers at the facility.
Ralph St. Williams, a Ghanaian political activist, has been trending online after a video of him in a heated exchange with some nurses at the Ridge Hospital.
He was heard chastising the nurses, claiming they had neglected a patient he had sent to the hospital on Monday, August 18, 2025.
Moments after his video went viral, the management of Ridge Hospital denied his claims of neglect and accused him of physically assaulting some nurses.
According to the hospital’s management, the chaos created by Ralph St. Williams and a group of men accompanying him led to the injury of one nurse, who also lost her phone.
Ralph St. Williams denies Ridge Hospital’s claims
However, Ralph St. Williams responded to allegations of assault, describing the nurse as a pretender. He denied attacking the nurse, stating that the woman showed no evidence of being assaulted when he was leaving the hospital.
“This is funny and painful, where we have such a system that allows people to pretend and lie. Everyone who is sensible and smart, when they watch this video, will know the girl was pretending and acting.
“At what point did I hit you? At what point did I, Ralph, touch you? Every time people do this. We are fixing the system, and we will do everything to fix it. I am not afraid in any way. The majority of people have experienced this. They are doing this to cover their nonsense, irresponsibility, and negligence.”
