Dr. Barima Ofori Nyarko Tetepo Donates Computers to Saamang JHS

In a heartwarming gesture of goodwill, Dr. Barima Ofori Nyarko Tetepo, Saamang Hene, donated ten tabletop computers to Saamang Junior High School on Sunday, August 17, 2025. The donation was made during the Akwesidie observation and was facilitated through a philanthropic effort.

The primary aim of this generous act is to enhance the teaching and learning of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the school. Obaahemaa Seiwaa Braketu, Saamang Hemaa, presented the computers on behalf of Dr. Tetepo, while Miss Rebecca Asumang, SISO of Osino West Circuit, received them on behalf of the District Director of Education for Fanteakwa South District in the Eastern Region.

Miss Asumang expressed her gratitude and promised to ensure the computers are used effectively for their intended purpose. She assured the traditional leaders and the community that the school would maximize the benefits of this donation to improve ICT education.

This donation is expected to significantly boost the school’s ICT capabilities, providing students with hands-on experience and better preparing them for the digital future. Dr. Tetepo’s initiative reflects his commitment to supporting education and community development in the region.
