The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Africa Prosperity Network (APN), Sidig Faroug El Toum, has emphasised that conversations at the Africa Prosperity Dialogue are not mere discussions but the building blocks for the future of Africa.

He has, therefore, urged all delegates to actively engage, share their expertise, and contribute to shaping the policies and strategies that, he said, would define the trajectory of the African continent.

In his welcome address at the second day of the ongoing Africa Prosperity Dialogue (APD) in Accra today, Mr El Toum expressed appreciation to all participants for their commitment to the prosperity of Africa and encouraged them to endeavour to make the conference this year, another milestone in the shared journey toward a prosperous and connected Africa.

Mr El Toum said the 2025 dialogue was a continuation of the collective journey towards a more prosperous and integrated Africa.

In that regard, he said, it was the mission of the APN to unite the political and business leaders in Africa to advance the agenda of transforming the continent into the world’s largest single market and leveraging on its diversity, resources, and innovation for the benefit of all Africans.

He said the dialogues were essential since it was to engage participants in a unified vision of fostering collaborative action and ensuring that solutions by the APN were both practical and impactful.
