As part of their 15th anniversary celebrations, the 2009 alumni group of Ewit Greenwich Classical Academy revisited their alma mater, generously contributing various materials to aid in ongoing renovations aimed at revitalizing the school.

The donation included 21 boxes of tiles, bags of cement, tiling chemicals, a bucket of paint, two television sets, and an undisclosed cash sum to support the ongoing construction efforts.

Leading the group, Ms Loretta Ankrah expressed their gratitude to the school’s management, acknowledging the profound impact the academy had on their lives.

“If not for Ewit, we wouldn’t be where we are today,” she shared, describing the contribution as a small token of appreciation for the school’s invaluable role in shaping their futures.

The 2009 year group also pledged the group’s commitment to keep the school in their prayers and to support future efforts to restore its former prestige.

“We are aware of the challenges, but we’re encouraged that the dream to build our prestigious Ewit again is alive. Long live Ewit!” they added.

They urge students to come out of their shells and explore while in school so they can achieve greater heights.

Ewit Greenwich Classical Academy’s management expressed heartfelt thanks to the alumni for their selfless gesture.

Head of the School Madam Gladys Abbey stated, “The school will be forever grateful for this support, and will ensure the resources are used to uplift and restore the face of our beloved institution.”
