BRAZEN DAYLIGHT ROBBERY HITS ADABRAKA, ACCRA

Accra, Ghana – A daring group of armed robbers brought chaos to Adabraka’s bustling streets in broad daylight on Saturday, November 2, hijacking a vehicle and seizing sacks filled with cash.

Eyewitnesses describe the scene as “cinematic,” with the gunmen tossing wads of money into the air, sending bystanders scrambling. One eyewitness revealed that the targeted vehicle, a Toyota Corolla, belonged to a gold dealer who had bags of money inside.

“This is the second time this has happened,” the eyewitness said, highlighting concerns about the area’s safety. “The police arrived late, after the robbers had fled with the money in their Toyota Highlander.”

Witnesses reported multiple gunshots fired to distract and scare away onlookers. Videos captured by onlookers and shared on social media show the gunmen’s swift, coordinated movements and the terror that gripped the market.

The Ghana Police Service has yet to confirm details, but the widespread circulation of the videos has sparked concerns about safety in Adabraka.
